An Assistant Hair Stylist shampoos and conditions hair, blow dries hair, provides basic haircuts as well as assists the hair stylist in providing other advanced hair services.
The person also assists in salon ambience maintenance and also does various other odd jobs in the salon including sell salon retail products after obtaining knowledge on them.
Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) a recognised Awarding Body of National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET), promoted by CII, with financial support from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
